New Designhotel for the Camper Group is Completed...

NDC Management built a most individual independent hotel in Berlin’s most lively centre, the Hackescher Markt, for the Camper Group. The Casa Camper is both a designer piece and family hotel and will be operated by the group itself. Camper, known for eccentric shoes, will now deliver another master piece. The Spanish architects Jordi Tió and Fernando Amat have created a unique structure whilst taking the local impressions into consideration. Bread + Butter already celebrated. The Spanish cook has already been ordered. Hasta la vista Casa Camper!

 

Topping-Out Ceremony for the First easyHotel in Germany…

The first easyHotel in Germany is under construction in the immediate vicinity of the Hackescher Markt in Berlin. Construction began last year. Now it’s time for the topping-out ceremony. The hotel will be completed by the end of 2009. The distinctive corner building will house 125 easyRooms and a manager’s apartment. The ground floor will be home to two new retail shops. The building installations will be especially energy efficient. It is planned to minimize the carbon footprint of each room. easyHotel strives to be the world champion with the least carbon dioxide emission from its hotels.

 
The nHow Hotel at the „Osthafen“ ...

The spectacular 4-star hotel is the flagship of the nH Hoteles Group from Madrid. A very demanding task directly on the River Spree. NDC Management has commissioned BAM to deliver the project turn-key ready. BAM has already built the O2-Arena and will be building the main building of the Schönefeld airport. The star architect Tchoban from nps Tchoban Voss GbR designed the roofing with a protruding „crane building“, which will set an unmistakable mark at the Osthafen. The interior architecture and design was created by Karim Rashid from New York. His unconventional ideas will create a sensational international designer hotel. The show room will be completed soon.

Polikum Expands in the Medical Center Franz-Jacob-Straße:
NDC Management has remodelled the medical center Franz-Jacob-Straße und Polikum is the anchor tenant. The POLIKUM group develops and operates a network of integrated outpatient health care centers (OHC). The first Polikum OHC opened in October 2005 in Berlin-Friedenau and has developed into one of the largest German out-patient health care centers. On 01.01.2008, POLIKUM opened at their third location in one of NDC’s renovated medical centres. At the renowned location of the former policlinic at Franz-Jacob-Straße 10 in Fennpfuhl, POLIKUM, in cooperation with the already present medical colleagues, is looking forward to strengthening the location by expanding the facilities but also taking advantage of the structures already in place. The goal is to provide the local residents and patients with full medical outpatient care, and profit from the synergies. The facility is doing so well, that expansions are now needed. Starting in the fall, newly renovated areas in the 2nd upper level of the building will be open to all Polikum patients.

 
Marchstr. / Einsteinufer , The Building Permit for the Student Apartment Complex Has Been Granted:
On a 4.500 m² site at the legendary location, right by the Technical University and the University of Arts, where once the last occupied houses in the western part of Berlin were located, a new building with furnished rooms for approx.480 students, teachers, and university guests is in development.
The district office of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf has issued the permit for construction of the Student Apartment Complex planned to be developed by NDC Management. With this in place, the Opal Property Group GmbH, a subsidy of the British Opal Property Group, which is the largest private provider for student accommodations in the UK, can begin with the realisation of their project and, after several years of stagnancy, bring new life to this legendary location.
